Designed, modeled and constructed by Molly Morgan
Designing and building " Carnwennan", a short dagger to be used in a television production retelling King Authur's origin story. The process of creating this dagger begain in Procreate, developing designs over a few days that drew inspriation from translations of the Mabinogion, celtic history, archaeological dig site recording artifacts from 6th centry Wales and England.
The Making Process

Once the 3d model was completed in Fusion360, the dagger was 3d printed using SLA and FDM printers, fo the handle and blade respectively. The prints were then sanded and prepped for creating box moulds. Once the mould making process was compelte, a pewter blade was cast, then reshaped and polished before casting a handle directly onto it with the handle mould.
This blade is currently a work in progress, and will be completed at a later date.
